Linear ball bearing .. EXC / EXCE
with / without self-alignment / compact series
Linear ball bearing
Linear ball bearings of the compact series EXC and EXCE comprise a plastic cage, steel bearing plates, steel balls and wipers. The dimensions are in accordance with DIN ISO 10 285 series 1.
Innovations
As first linear ball bearing of the compact series according to DIN ISO 10 285 series 1, this new product range comprise double track bearing plates and offers a self-aligning feature option.
- the double track bearing plates are centering the ball tracks to the shaft that results in uniformly loaded balls
- due to the unique production process of the double track bearing plates and optimized ball diameters, the bearing shows an extraordinary and smooth running characteristics
- this new design concept in compact dimensions allows high speed and acceleration with minimal pulsation and low friction
- the self-aligning feature allows the bearing to absorb misalignment up to ±0,5° without impact on travel life
Corrosion resistance
If corrosion resistance is required, the option -RB provides stainless steel bearing plates as well as stainless steel balls. In combination with hardened stainless steel shafts the load capacities have to be reduced.
EXC (standard series, high load capacity)
- 5 self-centering double track bearing plates are equally arranged in peripheral direction
- also available with self-aligning feature (suffix F)
EXCE (economy series)
- 3 self-centering double track bearing plates are equally arranged in peripheral direction
- the so called tripod effect has a positive impact on the bearing running characteristics
- also available with self-aligning feature (suffix F)
- most economic solution suitable for many applications
